With your coastal or inland boating license, you can rent a licensed boat from Sbrava Nautique to navigate on Lake Serre-Ponçon.

This boat is suitable as much for lazing around, thanks to its front sunbathing, as for a sporting trip or swimming. It will allow you to discover the whole of Lake Serre-Ponçon with comfort and safety thanks to its equipment: life jackets for each person, bathing ladder, oars, a buoy, a map of the lake and an awning, which will protect you from the Sun.

FUN YAK 540 100HP – 8 / 10 seats (8 adult seats + 2 child seats for under 37 kg)

This 8/10-seater boat features a completely flat deck, giving you plenty of space to stretch out and relax. Your trip can be enjoyed with music thanks to the onboard sound system. It’s perfect for exploring the full extent of Lake Serre-Ponçon in comfort and safety, with features like a sun deck, sunshade, and swim ladder. For a more sporty experience, you can also rent a wakeboard or a towable tube to add some thrills to your ride.

These boats require the presentation of the coastal or river license. You will be reminded of the navigation rules to be observed upon departure.

You also have the option to rent a wakeboard, water skis, or a towable tube with the boat for a more active and thrilling experience—fun for both kids and adults.

If you don’t have a boating license, Sbrava Nautique offers license-free boat rentals. You’ll be able to enjoy a boat that’s powerful enough to explore Lake Serre-Ponçon, without needing any specific navigation skills. Four boats are available:

The largest of our license-free boats combines luxury and comfort with a sleek, modern design. You'll enjoy a premium helm station worthy of a licensed boat, featuring a sit-stand seat, swivel chairs, and Bluetooth music. With its front sun deck, sunshade, cushions, and swim ladder, it’s ideal for family outings. Equipped with a 10HP engine, it lets you explore a good portion of the lake with ease.

Terhi 450 CC 10HP – 6 / 7 seats (6 adult seats + 1 child seat for under 37 kg)

The new Terhi 450 CC 10HP is a versatile license-free motorboat with a central console, perfect for both family outings and swimming, thanks to its swim ladder. Powered by a 10HP engine, it’s the most powerful of our license-free boats. Spacious, comfortable, and highly maneuverable, it can accommodate up to 6 adults and one child.

Rigiflex CAP 4700 10HP – 7 / 8 seats (7 adult seats + 1 child seat for under 37 kg)

More spacious and faster than its little brother, the CAP 400, the CAP 4700 10HP can accommodate up to 7 adults and one child. Sturdy and reliable, this boat is ideal for a family outing. It features a helm station, multiple benches, a swim ladder, and a sunshade to keep you cool under the sun—everything you need for a great time on the lake. Life jackets, oars, and a lake map are provided.

Rigiflex – CAP 400 8HP – 4 / 6 seats (4 adult seats + 2 child seats for under 37 kg)

With its 8hp thermal engine, it is faster than electric boats, and will allow you to explore the lake easily. Handy, with its cockpit. You board with 4 adults and 2 children. On board you will find life jackets for each person, oars, a map of the lake and an awning, which will protect you from the sun, as well as a ladder to easily get back on board after a swim.

These four unsinkable, gasoline-powered boats are powerful and fast enough to be fun to drive, and they’ll take you wherever you want on the lake. No license is required to rent these high-performing boats—they’re accessible to everyone! You’ll just need to follow a few basic navigation rules, which will be explained before departure.

At our nautical base located in Ubaye Serre-Ponçon! Ideally situated with direct access to the water, an Aquasplash park right next door, and nearby shops and services, you’ll be perfectly placed to enjoy Lake Serre-Ponçon and all the activities it has to offer.

How to rent a boat without a license?

Simply come to our nautical base with a valid ID and a security deposit by check or a credit card for which we will take an imprint. Our boats come equipped with life jackets for each passenger, oars, a sunshade (to protect you from the sun), and a ladder to help you climb back aboard.
